Marine Drive to Rishikesh (NIM Beach) Rafting

From Marine Drive To Rishikesh (Most Popular - 26 Kms). The trip starts around 7 am from our office in Rishikesh. We drive 37 kms upstream (about 1 hour) to Kaudiyala, to start the river trip. After a comprehensive safety briefing, we change into our rafting gear and get on the water. We raft down 35 kms on big volume Ganga whitewater (5 to 6 hours), including adrenaline pumping rapids like Daniels Dip, The Wall, Three Blind Mice, Crossfire, Bodysurfing, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Golf Course and lots more.

We stop around noon for a tasty lunch on a quiet beach. After lunch, we get back on the water to continue to encounter the big rapids. The trip ends at NIM Beach in Rishikesh.

• Rafting activity is subject to the weather conditions/ Ganga water level/ Government Instructions.
• Brahmpuri Club House Rafting is allowed only for people above the age of 14+ years. Elderly people who are physical fit are also allowed for this rafting from Bhramapuri Club House to Rishikesh.
• Visitors are requested to report at Rafting office in Tapovan (main Badrinath Highway) in Rishikesh. Pickup for Rafting is from Tapovan Office.
• Customers are required to book their Rafting through Rafting Operators/ Online Agencies only.
• Visitors are required to sign a disclaimer/ liability waiver form on arrival.
• Rafting, Body Surfing & Cliff Jumping activities are subject to the weather conditions.

• Visitors are requested to do Rafting early in the morning at around 7 or 8 am to avoid the huge Jam in Tapovan to Shivpuri Road.
• Near Monsoon season, only 9 kms (from Brahmpuri) of Rafting would be provided. Whichever would be permissible by Govt after seeing the Ganga water level.
• Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc.) unfit for any reasons in the wisdom of the river, guide/ instructor will not be allowed the rafting trip or undertake any other adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such circumstances will not be entertained. Decision of the river guide/ management in this regard would be final.
• Bulky clothes, saree, necktie, long skirts, suits are not permitted. Shorts, T-shirt preferably of synthetic material, floaters/ sandals, sunglasses with strings are recommended.
• River Rafting is on sharing basis.
• Rafting is not allowed for the persons above 100 Kgs. of weight.
